Pass Universal Healthcare please. It appears congress wants to pass healthcare reform by giving us a system similar to Japan’s and Germany’s healthcare system.
These countries along with some others do have Universal Healthcare where everyone is covered and they do it with private insurance companies, doctors, and hospitals.
Countries that have a market based universal healthcare system do so with these successful strategies.
1. Health insurance companies must take everyone and they cannot profit from basic care. Some do earn money from selling supplemental insurance.
2. Everyone buys insurance and the government paying for the poor.
3. The doctors and hospitals charge the same price to everyone, regarless of who their insurance is. The prices are set by the government.
