(UNCUT) The CNN RON CLARK ACADEMY HEALTH CARE REFORM SONG – FULL VERSION
Ron Clark Academy students write a song their take on health care reform to the tune of Miley Cyrus’ ‘Party in the U.S.A.’ on CNN.
Lyrics:
Got paged in the morning at 5am
Time to go into work again.
Welcome to the world of medicine,
Whoa, here we go again.
The hospital’s packed with people in a long line
Agitated cause we’ve waited for a long time.
This is all so crazy, too many missing coverage lately
My tummy’s turning and I’m feeling kinda sickly
My hip’s bad and I feel weak
And the prices are always raising up.
Conservatives and liberals say
To reform healthcare today
But they can’t seem to find a way.
So we throw our hands up for healthcare reform
Make your choice today.
Private and public care
Will a marketplace treat us fair?
So we throw our hands up for healthcare reform
Make your choice today.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It’s a problem in the USA.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It’s a problem in the USA.
Obama says everyone needs
Health coverage in America now.
We need to insure those 47 million
But the government doesn’t know how.
Deductibles getting higher every day
I got my bill and I’m thinking NO way.
And what about my brother?
He’s hurt and can’t get covered.
My tummy’s turning and I’m feeling kinda worried
Capricious coverage is killing me.
That’s when a doctor said, “You’ll have to go.”
Bipartisan support was tried so we wouldn’t be denied
But Joe Wilson yelled, “You lie!”

@vangchip i agree it seems like they come up with some dumb scheme to help the u.s. every once in a while and it only ends up hurting us in the end.

socialism does not work obama…….give it up!

At least these kids …
At least these kids seem to be encouraged to think for themselves and to debate. I expected to hear full indoctrination from the left, but it doesn’t appear so!
I created a video about how young people are taken advantage of by the progressive left. Check it out.

these kids are …
these kids are amazing

So much for …
So much for diversity.
August 29th, 2010 at 4:11 pm
the healthcare …
the healthcare reform is a stupid plan, it will just tax the out of us, and for the people who have healthcare will just pay more for their healthcare, the U.S. will not get any savings or profit from it…

If you can’t figure …
If you can’t figure it out from the video then I can’t help you.

Hopefully little …
Maybe that was in exchange for getting two rounds of speaking during the discussion lol.
Hopefully little Willy is reading this and getting inspired
Politics is a dirty. Maybe they felt like publicizing this just to get more people to think about this health care issue. Most people are going off of what they hear from others instead of researching their own stuff.

If the kids are …
If the kids are writing these then why are we only seeing songs about Obama from them? Where’s little Willy’s Free Market Freestyle?
Politics is a dirty game and that’s something you have to learn about if you’re going to be on the news pushing an agenda. Middle school or not. I don’t agree with involving children in politics for that reason.

One thing I wanted …
One thing I wanted everyone to be mindful of….
Lets be careful about our methods of debating this video as I would hate to every discredit or attack the students in anyway.
As adults I have seen numerous times when lash out our opinion and never keep the kids in mind. Lord knows who was responsible for what is included in this video so hopefully everyone keeps that in mind.

My visit to this …
My visit to this school and the other videos I have seen posted from the students singing other songs have said that the students write their own stuff. The kids use music, poetry, and rhyme to express themselves. Have you seen their musical? I did when i visited and there is no way someone could be writing their stuff. Its hilarious but definitely has a middle school twist to it. You have to check them out. i have a copy of the DVD they gave me. I will post it one of these days.

You heard it from …
You heard it from the kids’ mouths. Some of them don’t agree. When a child is asked to do something by people in a position of authority over them (e.g. teachers) the child is obligated to comply.
No one held guns to their heads but these are obviously not their own words. An adult or group of adults wrote this trash and got children to sing it on the news. They used the children to promote their lame agenda.
August 29th, 2010 at 4:11 pm
I doubt they were …
I doubt they were forced. I think they were just trying to spread the concern.
August 29th, 2010 at 4:11 pm
It’s up that …
It’s up that they made them all sing that when the kids obviously have their own opinions.
August 29th, 2010 at 4:11 pm
forget this, …
forget this, listens to whole song, they have other points of view, but it isn’t 44 million, but 30. The rest are illegal immigrents.
Also, I guess the only reason they are able to do this type of thing in a classroom is because it is a private school, but that is still a little hard for middle schoolers to debate on.
August 29th, 2010 at 4:11 pm
how is this a good …
how is this a good thing? It shows praise in a figure. I think Hanity explained it all.
August 29th, 2010 at 4:11 pm
Damn, you go Willie!
Damn, you go Willie!

Brainwashed… how? …
Brainwashed… how? Sounds like they attempted to research this a little.
