It is all pretty confusing and there are lots of options. Should i just contact a company and talk to an agent, research myself, or use an agent that does not belong to a specific company?
There are hundreds of options so unless you have several days to devote entirely to research it would be best to get help. Also, some research you need to do, such as coverage for pre-existing conditions and BMI charts, are not made public.
Visit a local agent the works with all of the major companies in your area. The agent can help you find the best policy for your situation and budget. They can explain what you get and, more importantly, what you don’t get with each policy. There is no extra charge using an agent.
