Serbia has joined forces with Fiat, the Italian car-maker, to produce cars which are cheaper for customers. The Serbian government is also offering a cash-for-scrap scheme to ensure its success.

But while the scheme is being welcomed by customers buying new cars, it is proving devastating for the second hand car business.
