2 White House backs away from public health care option public optionWhite House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs–without a trace of irony–defends the public option as introducing “choice” and “competition” into the insurance market, when in reality the “public option” would eventually do away with both: destroy competition and ultimately eliminate choice.

RACHELMADDOW- DISTURBING GOP CHRISTIAN RIGHT PRAY FOR THE SICK TO DIE FROM LACK OF HEALTH CARE

August 29, 2010 - 3:54 pm 25 Comments

2 RACHELMADDOW DISTURBING GOP CHRISTIAN RIGHT PRAY FOR THE SICK TO DIE FROM LACK OF HEALTH CAREThis is really disturbing to watch on so many levels . This is also one of the reasons the GOP party has a lower approval rating then our Democratic party . You have far right wacko Michele Bachmann, a religious right Catholic preacher and sitting Republican senators doing some crazy fucken prayer to not just stop this current bill, but ANY real reform that could help people . So basically what they are praying for is the status quo . And what’s the status quo ? 45,000 men, women, and children dieing every year . That’s what these sick are praying for . In addition, their doing it with an even crazier controversial “preacher” . Also, pay attention to one of the Republican senators. He hints somewhat that he wants to do away with the separation between church and state clause in the constitution . People should be very, very worried that nuts like these could control the house, senate, and maybe even worse, the W.H.

Why I Hate the World ep 16: More on Healthcare

August 29, 2010 - 3:45 pm No Comments

2 Why I Hate the World ep 16: More on HealthcareI don’t know why all these teabagging morons are so angry about this Health Care bill, mainly because in this bill the Republicans got everything they wanted.

ULRS mentioned in the video:

Republicans oppose their own idea (i.e. the Individual healthcare mandate):

http://swampland.blogs.time.com/2010/02/16/health-care-republicans-oppose-their-own-idea/

Senator Chuck Grassley flip flops on Mandate – because his party thought that up in the first place:

Last Man Standing – Dennis Kucinich

August 29, 2010 - 3:44 pm 25 Comments

2 Last Man Standing Dennis KucinichA few very striking quotations from a backpedalling article written by Dennis Kucinich entitled, “Last Man Standing.” The words of Kucinich stand as an inditement of total political failure of the US system of government. The government continues to avoid solutions in favor of special private and corporate interests. How much failure can the citizens of the United States and the World endure? Liberty, freedom, and rights? Where?
