Teabagging Women on Health Care Reform

August 29, 2010 - 6:08 pm 6 Comments

2 Teabagging Women on Health Care ReformAfter the House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. passed health care reform legislation, two teabagging women took a break from their Tea Party protests to reflect on the current state of the health care reform debate. From domestic violence as a pre-existing condition to the failure of insurance companies to cover maternity care, these teabaggers have a lot to talk about and they address it all in this funny, musical parody video.

Lyrics:
Nazi-Bama thinks I need maternal care, pre-natal
My mom didn’t have it so why should yours?
Yeah, I’m pretty friggen stable

Grand ‘Ol Party keep it up
Grand ‘Ol Party dandy
It’s not too late to kill that bill
and with teabags be handy

26 without health care
I can’t wait for the future
STD or the swine flu and we’re in debt forever

Grand ‘Ol Party keep it up
Grand ‘Ol Party dandy
It’s not too late to kill that bill
and with teabags be handy

Insurance told me that I had conditions pre-existing
You got beat up at home again
And doubled-up my premiums

Grand ‘Ol Party keep it up
Grand ‘Ol Party dandy
It’s not too late to kill that bill
and with teabags be handy

Keep that bill stuck on the floor
Keep our government tiny
If that that thing gets through the door
We might have another option

The ADAC-AmbulanceService was founded in 1973. It is the keystone of ADACs medical assistance organisation.

After pioneering the airmed system in Germany in 1970, ADAC took its medical services across borders by founding the ADAC-Ambulance Service.

In 1975 the first patient was repatriated from Athens to Munich in a Learjet 24. The ADAC-AmbulanceService has since transported 240,000 patients.

Today, the ADAC-AmbulanceService administers care to 44,000 patients and transports 15.000 patients per year. It operates its own fleet of ambulance aircraft equipped with the most up-to-date IC equipment. All this makes the ADAC-AmbulanceService one of the leading European players in the world-wide patient repatriation business and a competence centre when it comes to the medical assistance side of mobility and tourism.

ADAC runs its own assistance centres in the European holiday countries and in the USA. Here, highly trained multilingual responders, many of them physicians, who are highly familiar with the local conditions and first contacts, are able to arrange fast and competent assistance.

Wake Up America: We Need Real Health Care Reform

August 29, 2010 - 4:35 pm 15 Comments

2 Wake Up America: We Need Real Health Care ReformMarches toward socialism, death panels and health care rationing, oh my! If you’ve been watching the news these days you know that few people seem interested in having a serious debate about our health care industry in America. It would be funny to watch if it weren’t for the fact that 45 million Americans don’t have insurance and the 200 million who do are finding it more difficult to afford. It would be hilarious if we weren’t beholden to the Robber Barons of health insurance monopolies and their shills on Capitol Hill. Are you sick and tired of this mockery that we call a debate? Watch this video and find out what you can do to make sure we get the comprehensive health care reform we need!

Study Shows Millions of US Children Without Health Insurance

August 29, 2010 - 4:30 pm 1 Comment

2 Study Shows Millions of US Children Without Health InsuranceIn many parts of the world, parents have two choices — either pay the full cost of medical care for their children or hope that free treatment will be available under government programs. In the United States, much of the cost of a child’s medical care is usually absorbed by the family’s health insurance plan. But for parents, the cost of health insurance has steadily outstripped the cost of inflation in recent years. VOA’s Melinda Smith has more on the dilemma many working parents face when their child gets sick.
