“I think a new world order is emerging with the foundation of a new progressive era of international co-operation,” Following the announcement of the deal at the ExCeL conference centre in London’s Docklands, the FTSE share index closed up more than four per cent. Other stock markets around the world also rose sharply.

The conclusion of the summit also coincided with the release of figures that suggested the British economy could be starting to recover. House prices have risen and the Bank of England claims that lending to businesses has improved.

Mr Brown’s delight at securing the agreement — which had been under threat from Nicolas Sarkozy, the French President, and Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor — was evident.

The success was echoed by Mr Obama. “By any measure the London summit was historic,” he said. “It was historic because of the size and the scope of the challenges that we face and because of the timeliness and magnitude of our response.”

Mr Sarkozy, who had threatened to walk out of the talks unless he got action on tax havens, said a “page has been turned” on the old financial model, the “Anglo-Saxon model”.

One trillion dollars will be made available to the IMF and, in turn, to countries threatened by the downturn. However, Mr Brown made it clear that he did not intend to apply for funds for Britain, despite opponents warning that the country will soon need a bail-out due to the growing deficit in the public finances.

Mr Obama, who leaves Britain after a three-day visit on Friday morning, played an important part in brokering the deal, in particular French concerns over the deal on tax havens. A senior White House official said the President took Mr Sarkozy to a corner of the room for a chat. He then acted as a go-between with President Hu Jintao, of China until they both agreed to a solution put forward by Mr Obama.

As The Daily Telegraph disclosed on Thursday, a key part of the global rescue package included united action to curb excessive pay to bankers and traders.

Downing Street will be relieved that the summit has not proved a failure, despite Mr Brown not securing some of his earlier objectives, notably a second round of fiscal stimulus.

American quality cannot compete with Asian slave labor in goods sold in US markets. If trade is imbalanced it is not “free-trade”. If America does not restore some protectionism we will continue to drain our wealth to India and China.

The $1 Trillion global IMF banker and international business scam for the European elite. Even more significant is the increased power given to the international financial institutions, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, who have been subcontracted by the G20 to monitor and run many of their policies.

IMF managing director Dominique Strauss Kahn was jubilant after the meeting, saying that the IMF “is now truly back.”

The IMF’s image had been tarnished during the Asian financial crisis and, until the current crisis came to a head, there had been fears that the organisation was losing its relevance.

Mr Strauss-Kahn was particularly enthusiastic about the plan for the IMF to issue $250bn worth of its own currency, the SDR, saying this was the first step on the IMF issuing its own liquity as well as being a lender of last resort – the two key functions of a world central bank.

The IMF will also be made more representative, with China and India getting a bigger say, and its top job opened to all comers, not just Europeans, in the future.

Employees are victims for racism, and lack of proper health insurance through the job. Wal-Mart wants to put the responsibility on MediCare in order for them to save money.

The company don’t care about the environment, and they care even less about the Chinese that make all lots of the goods you by for a cheap amount of money.

They don’t care about you as a customer. Once you have paid for your grocieries, you are left on your own. Security on the parking lot? Forget about it. It costs too much.

The online whistleblower WikiLeaks is following up its massive exposé of Afghan War secrets by posting a mysterious, encrypted file called “Insurance”. The file size is huge at 1.4Gb, about a hundred times bigger than most of the other files posted. But so far no one has been able to decrypt it. It looks as though when one posts a file like that he feels under threat in some way and, therefore, if any harm comes to WikiLeak’s chief, Julian Assange, any member of the WikiLeaks team, or possibly even the site itself, the key to the file will be published on the website of the project and it will reveal some sort of huge secret.
