Jack Webb Schools Barack Obama on America
Originally about healthcare, this video is now dedicated to Jack Webb, who wanted each show to contain at least one strong speech that would attempt to set the moral compass of the country right. These speeches need to be heard by a new generation. Contact me if you remember one that applies to current events.

Teabagging Women on Health Care Reform
After the House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. passed health care reform legislation, two teabagging women took a break from their Tea Party protests to reflect on the current state of the health care reform debate. From domestic violence as a pre-existing condition to the failure of insurance companies to cover maternity care, these teabaggers have a lot to talk about and they address it all in this funny, musical parody video.
Lyrics:
Nazi-Bama thinks I need maternal care, pre-natal
My mom didn’t have it so why should yours?
Yeah, I’m pretty friggen stable
Grand ‘Ol Party keep it up
Grand ‘Ol Party dandy
It’s not too late to kill that bill
and with teabags be handy
26 without health care
I can’t wait for the future
STD or the swine flu and we’re in debt forever
Grand ‘Ol Party keep it up
Grand ‘Ol Party dandy
It’s not too late to kill that bill
and with teabags be handy
Insurance told me that I had conditions pre-existing
You got beat up at home again
And doubled-up my premiums
Grand ‘Ol Party keep it up
Grand ‘Ol Party dandy
It’s not too late to kill that bill
and with teabags be handy
Keep that bill stuck on the floor
Keep our government tiny
If that that thing gets through the door
We might have another option

9.12 DC TEA PARTY – MARCH FOOTAGE WITH INTERVIEWS
PLEASE SHARE THIS VIDEO.
On 9.12.2009, we went to Washington DC to document the Tea Party protests against, well, a lot of things, including health insurance reform, the IRS, abortion, global warming, and our “socialist/communist/fascist/Nazi/Muslim” president, Barack Obama. Some of them called for a return to McCarthyism, while others called for Glenn Beck to run for office–indeed, it seemed the only thing that everyone agreed on was Fox News.

A NOTE ON CZARS:
Some users have pointed out that White House “Czars” existed long before Ronald Reagan. As it turns out, Donald Nelson, appointed under FDR as a “Wartime Production Czar”, was the first. The Republican Gov. of Colorado, John A. Love, was later appointed under Nixon as an “Energy Czar”. We appreciate this correction, though such an oversight does not dilute our point. The current outcry against Czars is merely alarmist propaganda perpetuated by Glenn Beck and the rest of the right-wing media.

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
You can make a difference in the health care debate without leaving your bedroom. So stop typing that narcissistic Facebook status, pause your Mafia Wars game, and actually do something in reality to advance the cause you support on Facebook by calling your representative. This is so easy. Many people are timid about making phone calls, but a phone call to your representative now could save you a series of phone calls to an uncooperative insurance company in the future. Too lazy to look up your representative’s number? This website makes it even easier–it will find the number, call it for you, and then call your cell phone to connect you. Tell your representative’s office that you support comprehensive health care reform, and urge them to support the public option.

“We can do this. At this point, all that stands in the way of universal health care in America are the greed of the medical-industrial complex, the lies of the right-wing propaganda machine, and the gullibility of voters who believe those lies.”

Lack of health insurance coverage has widespread repercussions that could not have been imagined. Is government run health care the only solution? Sure, it’s expensive, but would you rather be broke or dead? Would you rather give your sensitive medical information to the government or be attacked by the undead? Would you rather medical innovation suffer, or you suffer endless torment?

Topics covered: Progressives think Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are such great ideas that they’re expanding them and adding new social entitlement programs like health care. Seeing how they’re all bankrupt and adding to our national debt it may not be the best idea.

Dueling Health Care Plan Protests in Fort Collins on July 29, 2009
At the intersection of Mulberry and College in Fort Collins, Colorado dueling health care street protests faced off. They shared their thoughts and signs on the purposed National health care plan. One corner had the pro Obama health care folks and the other 3 cornes had people against the plan. A lady at the event went around to each corner and counted the people supporting each side. She came up with an estimated count of 350 people there against the plan and around 120 people there for the health care plan.

THE TEA PARTY & THE CIRCUS – Final Healthcare Reform Protest
PLEASE HELP US SHARE THIS VIDEO.
On March 16, 2010, Tea Partiers from around the country gathered (in disappointing numbers) in front of the Capitol building for their final protest against health care reform. Also in town, appropriately, was Barnum & Bailey’s actual circus. The protestors voiced their usual conspiratorial concerns about healthcare reform: that it was a government takeover and more government, of course, equals less freedom; that it would euthanize seniors too expensive to treat; and that the bill would sink the nation into irrecoverable debt, despite its actually reducing the deficit by more than $100-billion over the next ten years. Averse to facts, no one interviewed was able to cite evidence for their false beliefs about the reform proposal, and instead suggested we seek the “truth” from Glenn Beck and Fox News.
THE PROPOSAL
The healthcare reform proposal being advanced in congress, while imperfect, would bring long overdue changes to a broken system. Far from being rushed, the proposals that make up this reform have been debated for years, and this congress has been working on a bill for many months. It’s time for an up or down vote on reform.
The proposal will expand healthcare access to over 30-million uninsured Americans, make healthcare more affordable for everyone, hold insurance companies more accountable, end discrimination against Americans with pre-existing conditions, and help stabilize our budget and economy by reducing the deficit by over $100-billion in the next ten years.
